1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Aurathea's website, applications, or services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users or through a prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before they take effect.
2. Service Description
Aurathea is an astrology platform that generates natal charts, astrological interpretations, daily horoscopes, and related educational content. Our Service includes natal chart generation, astrological interpretations in multiple tones and languages, an AI-powered chatbot, daily horoscopes, synastry compatibility analysis, transit and ephemeris tools, weekly transit reports, and educational content. The Service is available in six languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese.
3. Astrological Content Disclaimer
This is important. Please read carefully.
Aurathea provides astrological content for self-reflection, personal growth, and educational purposes only. Astrological interpretations are not predictions, prophecies, or guarantees about your future. Astrological content is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice. You should not make major life decisions based solely on astrological content. You are responsible for your own decisions.
4. AI-Generated Content Disclosure
Significant portions of Aurathea's content are generated using artificial intelligence. Chart interpretations are generated using AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude) based on astrological data. AI chatbot responses are generated in real time by AI (Anthropic Claude). Daily horoscopes are generated using AI with astronomical ephemeris data. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or errors. We make reasonable efforts to ensure quality, but AI output is inherently probabilistic.
5. Account Terms
5.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. This age minimum applies globally and reflects the nature of our Service as a platform providing AI-powered personal guidance and self-reflection tools.
5.2 Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. One account per person.
5.3 Account Security
Your account is protected by a password or third-party authentication provider. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
6. Subscription and Payment Terms
The Free tier provides access to basic chart generation without an account. Free charts are ephemeral and include limited interpretations.
Paid plans include Starter Packs (one-time purchase), Solo, Family & Friends, and Astrologer tiers (monthly or annual subscriptions).
Subscriptions are billed in advance and auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled. Annual subscriptions are billed as a single payment.
You may cancel at any time through account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds for cancellation.
Starter Packs are generally non-refundable once the report has been generated. AI Chat Message Packs are non-refundable once messages have been used. European Union users: You may have additional refund rights under the Consumer Rights Directive — see our EU Supplement for details.
We may change prices with at least 30 days' advance notice. Existing annual subscriptions are honored at the original price.
Aurathea may offer different pricing based on your country at the time of your first purchase. Your pricing region is determined at initial purchase and remains fixed.
Prices displayed may or may not include applicable taxes depending on your jurisdiction. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies imposed by your local tax authority on your purchases.
7. AI Chatbot Terms
The AI chatbot operates on a message-based system. Included messages refresh monthly and do not roll over. Purchased message packs do not expire. Message usage is non-reversible. Rate limits apply (20 requests per minute).
The AI chatbot provides astrological information and educational content only. It is not a companion, therapist, counselor, or emotional support service. It does not provide mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or call 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline).
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes, misrepresent astrological content as professional advice, access other users' accounts, use automated tools without permission, share credentials, circumvent limits, interfere with infrastructure, upload harmful content, or create multiple accounts to circumvent limits.
Aurathea employs a content safety system. If triggered, your interface may be temporarily locked. Safety events are logged with minimal metadata.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service is owned by Aurathea, PBC or its licensors. You retain ownership of your personal information. You grant Aurathea a limited license to process your data to operate the Service. AI-generated interpretations are owned by Aurathea but licensed to you for personal use.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information. We do not sell your personal information. Birth data is used exclusively for astrological calculations.
11. Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service. IN NO EVENT SHALL AURATHEA BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of amounts paid in the 12 months preceding the claim or $100 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aurathea from claims arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, violation of law, or misrepresentation of astrological content as professional advice.
13. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Delaware law. Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to attempt informal resolution for 30 days via legal@aurathea.com. Disputes are resolved by binding arbitration via the AAA on an individual basis. Small claims court and injunctive relief are exceptions. EU users retain mandatory consumer protections.
14. Service Modifications
We may modify or discontinue aspects of the Service with reasonable advance notice. If a material change makes the Service substantially different from what you paid for, you may cancel for a prorated refund.
15. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data is permanently deleted per our Privacy Policy. Payment records are retained for 7 years. We may suspend accounts for Terms violations or safety concerns.
16. General Provisions
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
