Opposition

An Opposition is an aspect in astrology that occurs when two planets are approximately 180 degrees apart, positioned in opposite signs of the zodiac. This aspect represents polarity, contrast, and tension between two areas of life or psychological drives. The signs involved often share modality (cardinal, fixed, or mutable) but differ in element and perspective, creating a dynamic where balance, negotiation, and mutual understanding are essential.
