Where the Reading Lives

Everything this track has covered so far — the sixty-four, the Judgement and the Image, the Ten Wings, the transmission that carried the text to where you are reading it now — is teaching, available to every visitor regardless of tier. What differs by tier is not the teaching. It is how deep Aurathea's own reading of your particular cast goes.

At every tier, a cast produces its full hexagram: the primary figure, the resulting figure where lines move, the Judgement, the Image, and the changing-line texts that apply given how many lines moved. That is the complete traditional reading, and it is not held back behind any tier.

Aurathea's distinctive contribution — reading a cast alongside your birth chart — is where the tiers diverge. At Studio, a reading includes the elemental-resonance layer: the trigrams' elemental images set beside your chart's own elemental balance, named as a contrast or resonance worth sitting with. At Astrologer, a short Jungian synchronicity note joins it, connecting the hexagram's theme to a standing emphasis in your chart as a further juxtaposition to contemplate. Both layers are described in full in this track's article on the I Ching and your birth chart; this closer names only where each one sits.

If your current tier does not include one of these layers, the reading you receive is genuinely complete on its own terms — the hexagram, read faithfully, with nothing withheld from the teaching itself. The chart-connected layers are additional depth, not a portion of the base reading held back to create an appearance of scarcity. The I Ching does not run out at sixty-four hexagrams, ten wings, and one transmission. Serious study goes further — into the trigram families, the five-phase resonances, the nuclear and derived hexagrams this track has mentioned but not unpacked. What you have read here is the honest foundation the rest is built on: a real tradition, taught in its own terms, connected to your own chart exactly as far as the evidence and your tier both allow, and never one inch further.
